1. The service

calpls.com ("calpls", "we", "us"), operated by [COMPANY NAME], [ADDRESS], Hungary, lets you create subscription calendars — filled automatically by AI web search, curated by hand, or both — and share them as calendar feeds. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials safe; you are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old (18 to create or subscribe to calendars containing adult-flagged events).

3. Plans and billing

• Paid plans (Personal, Creator) are billed monthly in USD through Stripe.
• Calendars are published — publicly reachable and automatically refreshed — only while a paid plan is active.
• You can cancel anytime; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where the law says otherwise.
• Plan limits (number of calendars, features) are described on the pricing page and may evolve; we won't reduce what you've paid for mid-period.

4. AI-generated content

Events found by AI come from public web sources and may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong ("hallucinated"). We make no guarantee that any event listed in a calendar exists or takes place as described. The "verified" mark means only that the calendar's creator says they checked the event — it is not a guarantee by calpls. Always confirm important details with the event's own sources.

5. Creator content and conduct

• You keep ownership of content you add. You grant us the licence needed to host, display, and distribute it through the service (calendar feeds, public pages).
• You are responsible for what your calendars contain, including events imported from files or edited by you, and for having the rights to publish it.
• Adult-oriented (18+) events must be flagged as such.
• Prohibited: illegal content, misleading or fraudulent events, harassment, spam, infringing others' rights, and attempts to abuse, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
• We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

6. Paid subscriptions and creator earnings

• Creator-plan users can charge their audience a monthly fee for calendar access. Payments run through Stripe; payouts require a Stripe payout account.
• We deduct a 10% platform fee from creator earnings; Stripe's processing fees also apply.
• Creators are responsible for their own taxes and for delivering what their paid calendars promise. Audience refund requests are handled between the creator and their subscriber; we may assist and may refund at our discretion where a calendar was clearly abandoned or fraudulent.
• Audience subscribers can cancel anytime; access ends at the end of the paid period.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice; if we discontinue the service entirely, you'll be able to export your calendars as .ics.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or losses caused by relying on event information (including missed, cancelled, or non-existent events). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create legal risk, with notice where reasonable. Sections that by nature survive (liability, governing law) survive termination.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence remain unaffected. Disputes belong to the competent courts of Hungary unless consumer law provides otherwise.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced by email or in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
